Description     Works under the supervision of the quality assurance manager, coordinates and ensure that quality & food safety management systems are implemented and improved. Monitors and provides assistance to ensure compliance with quality function standards. Key Responsibilities&Accountabilities: 1.Enhances staff awareness of the essential compliance with the established policies, procedures & quality controls to increase profitability. 2.Checking the shop fridges in the markets 3.Monitors and evaluates appropriateness of quality controls and practices, and identifies deficiencies and takes the proper remedial action. 4.Prepares various reports regarding performance against quality indicators 5.Performs quality checks on the different areas of operation, ensures compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures, Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, and other guidelines and takes the corrective or preventive actions as the case may be. 6.Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance checks and actions being taken to improve the situation. 7.Recommends and implements quality assurance training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers. 8.Formulates and maintains quality assurance objectives complementary to the Companys policies and goals under supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager. 9.Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.
Qualifications    Education & Qualifications: 1.Relevant Bachelor Degree with a major in Q MS 2.From 3 -5 years of experience in a similar role.

Other Skills    Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): 1.In-depth understanding of ISO 9001:2008 concepts and practices. 2.Requires general knowledge of quality management principles, including quantitative as well as qualitative analysis. 3.Requires general knowledge of business principles as they related to business evaluation, performance, and compliance. 4.Requires an in-depth knowledge of audit and inspection procedures. 5.Requires knowledge of training assessment methods, curriculum design, selection, and delivery. 6.Ability to communicate with people of different cultures and backgrounds. 7.Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. 8.Strong analytical skills. 9.Proficiency in reading, writing, communicating, and understanding the English Language. 10.Proficiency in using MS Office namely; MS Word, Vision, MS Project.
