Description Receive and store incoming medical supplies and medicines, verify quantities against invoices. Ensure proper labeling of received inventory regarding name, description, price, and expiry dates. Order, label, and count stock of medications, chemicals, or supplies and enter inventory data into computer. Maintain the cleanliness, proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Maintain and report daily records of medicine storage room temperatures and refrigerator temperatures. Clean and help maintain equipment or work areas and sterilize glassware, according to prescribed methods. Check for outdated or near to expiry medications in current inventory and inform the head pharmacist and pharmacists. Inform supervisors of stock needs and shortages. Assist customers by answering simple questions, locating items, or referring them to the pharmacist for medication information. Prepare and process medical insurance claim forms and records. Maintain and provide healthcare services if needed under instructions including blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose monitoring, first aid application & Injections.
Qualifications Professional knowledge in Pharmacy principles, Products, Management methods, and applications Knowledge in related governmental laws and legislation
