Description      Database deployment and configuration.  Performance optimization.  Indexing and schema based optimization  Database optimization Tools and techniques. You would need all kinds of arcane knowledge and experience:  Microsoft SQL Server  SQL  Mysql Speaking of conversation, we need to understand each other; your English must be good enough to talk technically. Primary Roles and Responsibilities:  Design, implement and deliver reports based on business requirements.  Design and implement an OLAP Cube database and build reports.  Understand the source systems and source data in detail.  QA any work done by self and other team members.  Document all of the design and development artifacts.  Troubleshoot and support all BI related production processing.  Understand the current reporting environment and use that knowledge to continuously improve the data warehouse
Qualifications    University degree in Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, or related field.  4+ years’ experience in the design, development, and testing of Data Warehouse implementations.  Experience with Reporting tools (esp. OLAP reporting) (SSAS).  4+ years of experience with SQL and Relational Databases is a must.  Strong Experience with MS BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS & SSRS) is a big plus.  Good Knowledge in ASP.Net, ASP Classic, C#, VB and Java Scripting is an asset.  Good Knowledge in Crystal Reports. Non-technical qualifications:  Excellent and effective communication skills.  Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet tight time-lines.  Ability to work and thrive in a physically disperse team environment.  Ability to communicate and work with both technical and non-technical team members.
