Description — Lead and manage all aspects of the companys transport operations to achieve revenue targets and operating budget — Manage daily operation of the 3rd party and leased fleet. — Manage and maintain all key vendor and service provider relationships to ensure contractual conformance and operational integrity. — Responsible for operational efficiency which will require implementation of improved policies, procedures and systems to achieve continuous improvement in service quality and profitability — Propose and manage investment in Fleet and systems to support business objectives and ensure improvement in efficiency and profitability. — Monitor and manage all contractual performance and operational compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements. — Establish and maintain professional relationships with key customers, industry sector affiliates and local government authorities. — Monitor competitor activity and external factors affecting the business through market intelligence; implement initiatives to protect and build the companys position. — Assist in the development and implementation of the Transport Strategy for all trucking operations across the country and support country management in building the network, brand equity and market share
Qualifications • Bachelors Degree in any related. • Excellent knowledge of transport regulations and operational issues relating to Egypt Market - Strong knowledge of cross border trucking is an asset. • Has a strong understanding of and proven success in delivering a high quality & cost effective transport service for dry and reefer containers. • Must be a self-starter and capable of hitting the ground running from day 1. • Strong management & leadership skills. • Minimum 5 years in inland Transport Operations with 2 years in management roles. • Interpersonal and communication skills, • Project Management skills.
