Description - Develop and update the strategy, goals and targets of the Facilities Management department. - Develop milestones and plans for the Facilities Management department to achieve its goal. - Develop the annual budget for the Facilities Management department and ensure cost and expenditure are within the set budget. - Manage the implementation of the strategic initiatives, as applicable to Facilities Management, and communicate expectations to all individuals within the department. - Manage the implementation and improvement of the Facilities Management guidelines, policies and procedures. - Assist the facilities management operations head in the development of RFP/RFQ (scope of work) for the selection of the sub-contracted firms in case needed. - Manage all facilities management activities to ensure its performing according to agreed-upon standards and terms. - Oversee all activities related to the facilities management firm/agency and ensure that facilities management is performing according to agreed-upon standards and terms. - Oversee periodical maintenance and repairs of properties which includes providing cleaning and custodial services and ensuring the functionality of appliances / machinery. - Ensure all properties are clean and hygienic to provide and maintain a healthy and comfortable environment working and living. - Develop periodical reports for each property covering all accidents, incidents and tenant problems.
Qualifications - Bachelor degree in Management, hospitality, or related degree (Master’s Degree is preferred) with a minimum of 8 years of related experience. - Management-level experience is required (2+ years). - Real estate industry experience is required. - Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of facility management. - Must be a professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character. - Proficiency in both English and Arabic Language.
