Description The candidate for the Java Web Application will assist in the design and implementation of a large, cutting edge web application system and integration effort. The candidate will code and test full-stack Java-based web application software development. This involves the use of user stories, acceptance criteria and other system engineering artifacts as part of an Agile team. He/she will use sound software engineering and object oriented principles to ensure that developed code is maintainable, efficient, reliable, understandable, secure and fault tolerant. The candidate will be knowledgeable about secure software development principles and techniques and will apply them. He/she will use software tools in cooperation with continuous integration and test automation while supporting software reuse and refactoring. He/she will support the software configuration management process and understand software components and their interface requirements. This position requires someone who is proactive and passionate about ensuring the quality of software deliverables and can communicate with the development teams (what is required to achieve this effectively on assigned tasks.
Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in a related technical field and 3+ years related experience. Knowledge in project management typically required. Knowledge of and experience working with software design patterns Experience with Java Web Application Development experience using some of the following Programming Languages and tools such as Java, EJB,Hibernate,HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spring Framework, SOAP, REST, MySQL, Oracle RDBMS.
