Description — To maintain good order and discipline among the pupils. — To organise and manage groups or individual pupils ensuring differentiation of needs, reflecting all abilities. — To participate in staff meetings and parents meetings as required. — To be part of a whole school team, actively involved in decision-making on the preparation and development of policies and programmes and resources. — To ensure that school policies are reflected in daily practice. — To communicate with parents over all aspects of their childrens social and behavioural progress. — To support the Supervisor in promoting the capabilities of the department. — To promote the welfare of children and to support the school in safeguarding children though relevant policies and procedures. — To promote equality as an integral part of the role and to treat every student with fairness and dignity. — Supervises students in and out-of-classroom activities during the school day; breaks and dismissal time. — Participates in developing the physical education programs as required. — Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional atmosphere in the session. — Evaluates students keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress reports. — Identifies student needs and cooperates with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems. — Provide adequate planning / equipment that allow all children to be active at the same time. — Planning after school clubs for activities. — Planning school wide activities such as field trips, fun days and morning exercise breaks. — Instruct students in the safety practices associated with different environments, including swimming pools, gymnasiums and playing fields
Qualifications Previous experience as a physical education teacher.
