Description Coordinate & cooperate with departments regarding the day to day purchasing & receiving activity. Revise submitted purchase requests & create the POs for the inventory items and place the orders with the suppliers. Assist in obtaining the relevant details, samples and quotations from the vendors. Finalize the required material at the right price / source / as per specifications and at the earliest time. Prepare & complete the purchase orders and follow up with the vendor for the delivery of the material. Continuous update of directories databases for customers and suppliers. Maintain and control an optimal level of office and stationary supplies as well as request forms, logs and balances. Reconcile supplies log and storage with the purchasing requests on a monthly basis to track consumption and process supplies request before supplies are depleted. Track preventative maintenance and upkeep of company equipment: PC, monitors, printers and photocopying machines and make sure they are in perfect working order. Contact vendors ASAP to minimize down time. Liaison with different branches to make sure all reports and requests are processed and submitted on time. Ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times. To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Superiors.
Qualifications •Must be able to demonstrate effective handling of purchasing logistics. •Work independently and may provide training or guidance to junior professionals •Mastering of Computer skills.
