Description Under the supervision of the project director, the incumbent will enhance capacity of associations staff and board members to operate and manage successful, member-driven associations by (1) developing and implementing tailored capacity building programs for minimum of three associations in idku region; (2) delivering most training and technical assistance to associations, utilizing consultants to smallest extent possible; (3) identifying organizations that can provide funding (grants or loans) to associations and link those organizations up with the associations in idku; (4) supporting associations to develop strong proposals or applications for funding, to enable associations to expand the services or programs for their members; and (5) work with agricultural community in idku to establish a new association; training and supporting farmers throughout process of establishing and registering new association.
Qualifications Applicant should live within one hour commute to Idku, Beheira and have a bachelors degree in a relevant field and ten years of relevant work experience. He or she should also be extensively knowledgeable about the NGOs law 84/2002 and its regulations & requirements.
