Description 1.Manage the flow of goods between the point of origin and the point of consumption 2.Maintain databases of logistics information include: (cost, service quality, productivity, and asset management) 3.Interpret data on logistics elements, such as (availability, operational performance, average order cycle timing, damage frequency, labor productivity, equipment downtime, capacity utilization, inventory turnover rate, days of supply, and productivity of outsourcing entities, supplier management, and transportation. 4.Provide ongoing analyses in areas affecting: costs, parts procurement, back orders, and delivery processes. 5.Prepare reports on logistics performance measures, such as: (sum of order processing + inventory + transportation + warehousing and materials handling + assets value) 6.Confer with logistics teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain process efficiency, and minimize cost. 7.Track products and orders status from origins to final delivery. 8.Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials. 9.Interview, select, and train warehouse and supervisory personnel. 10.Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities. 11.Prepare or direct preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations, maintenance, and safety manuals. 12.Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated. 13.Confer with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities, such as production, sales, records control, or purchasing. 14.Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments. 15.Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements. 16.Schedule or monitor pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials.
Qualifications - Knowledge of Planning (Logistics, Transportation, and Warehouse) - Planning and Analysis are the vital roles in this Job - Ability to put systems and practically implement them - Ability to use Ms Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
