Description - Read and execute operation plan. - Manage chief drivers directly. - Manage logistics coordinators directly. - Responsible for efficiency KPIs and standards of the fleet. - Analyze trip delays and implement changes to process to save time. - Responsible to create incentive schemes for drivers and motivate them. - Manage operation WO and ensure WO is being executed in the right time and in the right condition. - Own the GPS system. - Manage and control all drivers affairs including recruitment, performance management and appraisals in coordination with relevant department. - Manage and control all operations at loading and discharging sites through the operation team. - Track vehicle licensing validity and coordinates for required actions for their renewals with concerned departments. - Assure proper on-road tracking and guidance / control of drivers. - Manage vehicles assignments and operations for best utilization of assets. - Develop, update and assure enforcement of route plans and investigate any deviations.
Qualifications - Bachelor degree holder, BSc in Mechanical Engineering is preferable. - Must have a very good understanding of the roads. - Very good communication skills. - Very good knowledge of English language. - Organized and able to work under stress. - Very good management skills. - Truck technical knowledge is a plus. - Required work experience is 5+ years in land transportation/ fleet management.
