Description *Engineer and implement solutions on a wide variety of data network and data security elements *Technical support, services, information security, network security, engineering functions with very strong fundamental understanding of telecom network and routing environments. *Installation and support of intrusion detection systems, and firewall administration *Installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network security solutions and related monitoring tools including L2/L3 network devices, Network Admission Control (NAC), 802.1x, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN Solutions, Web Application Firewalls, Content Filtering, NetFlow Analysis *Secure the infrastructure for electronic transactions systems.
Qualifications *Packet capture tools and analysis of captures a must. *Background in responding to, mitigating, and remediating security attacks *Understanding of how DNS functions *Advanced experience with a wide variety of security devices including routers, firewalls, IDS’s and load balancers *Strong technical understanding of network fundamentals and internet protocols *Proficient with Perl and shell scripting plus *Strong knowledge of the security landscape (attack vectors and tools, best practices for assessing and mitigation)
