Description —Direct, Coordinate and manage order fulfillment, processing, development and production requirements and resolve problems within span of control to the standards set by the company in both Alex. And Cairo factories. —Manages the operational area in such a manner that customer satisfaction and budgeted profit margins are achieved and that a good company image is projected, thus ensure goods are produced efficiently and cost effectively maintaining the level of quality. —Operates a chain of pastry shops sales and production which attract and retain guests while supporting Company Strategy —Receive the daily work of the production, quality, Supply chain Branches managers and Delight Alex. Manager. —Follow-up store and quantities of materials required for production and make sure that there are adequate quantities of raw materials —Working closely with the Business Development Manager to maximize the sales targets and open new markets. —Ensure the smooth work flow between the production and Branches showrooms. —Plan, staff, and supervise all assigned work unit activities through subordinate managers to ensure a cohesive operational unit which will enhance team work spirit among subordinates —Submit the agreed action plan to the Managers (Quality - Production ” Supply Chain ” Branches ” Delight Alex.) —Manage staff schedule in accordance to budget and/or business needs. —Ensure follow through and compliance with: Food Safety, Safety Compliance policies around quality. —Responsible for all food operations to include Service Standards, maintaining positive employee relations, and hiring and training of all staff —Follows all concept specific guidelines while controlling costs —Guide, Direct and Motivate staff around performance management and labor planning —Identify and train talent for the department including coaching, training and develop matrixes and standards of continued excellence
Qualifications •Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline ,previous experience and education •7+ years of relevant Work Experience in Pastry and Bakery Field •Proven ability to lead, train and develop a team in a effective and respectful manner •Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word •Effective time management and prioritization skills •Strong communication skills both written and oral •Knowledge of department production processes, materials and production techniques •Principles and procedures of personnel Recruiting, Selection and Training •Active Learning, Listening Skills and Critical Thinking Skills to find effective solutions for any problems that arise •Ability to manage, motivate and lead during periods of change and disruption •Food production, sanitation and food safety knowledge, HACCP
