Description Select colors, images, textures and shapes to create the layout. - Select the size and arrangement of the different elements. - Employ color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques when designing project. - Develop material for web pages. - Design logos for products and businesses. - Develop signs and environmental graphics. - Create promotional displays, packaging, and digital marketing needs. - Develop the layout and production design of magazines, newspapers, journals, corporate reports, and other publications. - Perform research on competitors and market trends. - Collaborate with printers to select type of paper and ink. - Develop new business contacts. - Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials. - estimating the time required to complete the work. - thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts. - using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time; - developing interactive design; - keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as In Design, Squareness, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max and Acrobat. - working as part of a team with copywriters, other designers, offers & Promotions department, web developers and digital marketing department .
Qualifications - Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software - Exceptional creativity and innovation - Excellent time management and organisational skills - Accuracy and attention to detail - An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment - Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
