Description 1) Inspects plant facilities observing operations and activities, investigating health and safety complaints. 2) Observes work in progress, ensures that proper safety equipment is worn and procedures are followed. 3) Coordinates and consults with managers regarding health and safety issues in their respective areas and notifies management staff regarding violation of safety regulations and procedures. 4) Makes recommendations for corrections and follow up to ensure that violations have been corrected. 5) Analyzes hazards 6) Resolves complaints and makes recommendations to management for corrective action, as required. 7) Insures employee instructions for work deemed to have recognized hazards. 8) Assists in conducting or providing safety training for employees, including classroom lectures, demonstrations or hands-on instruction. 9) Assists in reviewing accidents, organizing and conducting emergency drill. 10) Assists in conducting Internal Audit for OHSAS and make report to the hierarchy.
Qualifications Bachelor degree, preferable in engineering. 1 to 2 years in the same role
