Description —Generates accounting statements and reports. —Researches cash receipts, coding and posting of receipts. —Researches and applies unallocated cash. —Oversees client trust accounts, accounts receivable write-offs and payment reversals. — Develops automated spreadsheets. —Organizes and maintains up to date financial records. —Assists in financial management and analysis, as requested. —Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers — Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department. —Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report. —Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications • Bachelor Degree accounting • 4-6 years hands-on Accounting experience. • Good mathematical background • Some experience with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems • Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers • Ability to use 10-key calculator for a variety of accounting functions
