Description ●Mentoring, teaching, and leading a small development team. ●Architecting features and systems while providing feedback and code reviews for other members of the team ●Understanding our needs, risks and making appropriate technology decisions ●Scoping and estimating new projects. ●Breaking down tasks for team members, setting up project plans ●You will merge the business view with the development view by collaborating interdisciplinary with all the required stakeholders ●You manage and prioritize our development queue ●You are responsible for the goal-oriented, agile software development using Scrum ●Besides the programming part you will also take care of team and project management
Qualifications ●Several years of Object Oriented (ideally Ruby on Rails), Open Source Web Development experience. ●Familiarity with Automated testing tools and methodologies, TDD experience is a plus. ●Some exposure to SASS, HAML or comparable templating and styling languages. ●Experience with automated build tools, servers set-up and administration. Cloud Infrastructure experience (AWS, Heroku, … etc) is a plus. ●Knowledge of Git as a code repository and coding standards within. ●Familiarity with EmberJS, AngularJS or similar JavaScript MVC framework is a plus. ●Familiarity with Agile SCRUM process, being able to apply it across the team. ●Contribution to open source projects is a plus ●Bachelors degree in Computer Science degree or equivalent. ●1+ years of experience as a Technical Team Leader. ●6+ years of experience in software development. ●Strong problem solving skills and a clear communication. ●You have the will and the power to drive ideas into execution.
