Description — To liaise and building relationships. Externally, this could be with customers and suppliers. Internally this could mean different related supporting departments and business units. — To contribute to the strategic planning of an annual or long term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives and be translated into the OGSM of every business unit. — To monitor business marketing activities in alignment to business plan and marketing strategy. — To synergize with all business units in terms of communication and follow up. — To budget, manage and identify advertising opportunities. — To build and maintain contacts with the media. — To write and distributing press releases. — To manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers. This can involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with designers and printers; — To arrange for the effective distribution of marketing materials. — To maintain, build and update mailing databases. — To organize and attend events and exhibitions. — To develop strategic relations to secure sponsorship to assist with the publicity and funding of marketing projects. — To carry out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness for existing business units and those developed at the Business Development department upon request. — To evaluate marketing campaigns. — To monitor competitors activities used to support the marketing manager, and other colleagues.
Qualifications Business or marketing-related degree • Practical experience in customer and market research • Relevant product and industry knowledge • Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel
