Description Identifying the user requirements and specifications, their feasibility and interactions with existing systems while ensuring efficient prioritization for the identified requirements. Translating the requirements into appropriate and documented specifications and then planning and creating a time frame which is communicated to the Developer. Analyzing data to create detailed designs, forms and reports meeting the specifications, then develop and test applications that match the approved specifications, carrying out prototyping and research as required. Maintaining and supporting systems, responding to and resolving system problems to ensure the systems remain available and function properly. Participating in the User Acceptance Test with Business Partners. Testing programs and ensuring that they satisfy the specifications. Working with and providing technical advice and training to users in all aspects of application development and technologies, in order to achieve the department and corporate objectives.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer Science. Strong experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and program units (Function, Package, Procedure) Strong experience in Oracle Developer 9i, 10G and 6i (forms and reports, on form program units) Good knowledge in Technical support and System Administration is preferable Good knowledge in XML Publisher is a plus Good knowledge in Java development Publisher is a plus Good knowledge in OAF is a plus Good knowledge in APPS Development is a plus Good knowledge in Oracle DBA is a plus
