Observe the practices of each Affiliate to ensure that they have the capacity and the desire to succeed in constructing simple, decent and affordable houses. Provide general guidance and support in the designated area. Field Coordinator is also responsible to assist the Operations Manger in programme planning and implementation. Responsibilities include: training new staff and volunteers on foundation methodology and approach. Field Coordinator is responsible to the Operations Manager for the successful performance of the functions required in the position. Field Coordinator is reporting to the Operations Manager. •Provide mentorship to communities through regular visits. Goal is to ensure the quality of the program in terms of family selection, construction quality and appropriateness of size of work done to the size of loan, etc.) •Ensure that the affiliate is implementing the program according to set of agreed-upon procedures and that they are using the necessary forms. •Prepare reports to be sent to Habitat for Humanity International, especially quarter report. •Prepare reports following field visits highlighting major positives/negatives noticed during the visit. •Prepare analytical report – a report analyzing and compiling data reported in the monthly reports that the National Office receives from affiliates. •Document important events through reports and photos.
Qualifications (1)Education. A Master of Science or Arts preferred. A Bachelor of Arts or Science in a related field required. (2)Work Experience. A minimum of 3 years work experience in development or a closely related field. Must have field work experience. (3)Computer/Language Skills. Intermediate computer literacy, with experience on Microsoft Word and Excel. Basic proficiency in spreadsheets preferable, but not required. (4)Languages. Native-speaker proficiency in Arabic. Intermediate spoken and written English. (5)Writing Skills. Advanced proficiency in Arabic composition. Proficiency in English composition. Experience in report writing. Basic proficiency in translation of documents from Arabic to English. (6)Administrative Skills. Basic familiarity and skill in bookkeeping. Ability to schedule and coordinate personnel and financial resources in multiple activities. (7)Relational Skills. Interpersonal skills and eagerness for relationships with marginalized communities.
