• Creates, reviews and approves the company policies and procedures • Advices and influences regarding the design of the organizational structure. • Leads and facilitates the integration of new knowledge and recommends that such may necessitate changes. • Advocates for and leads company-wide strategic planning and management • Understands thoroughly the core competencies of the organization, its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, its mission and critical success factors • Responds quickly and appropriately to modify operating and strategic plans in response to changing business conditions • Creates win-win outcomes when faced with strong differences of opinion among meeting participants • Communicates the rationale for change on a continual basis and in a clear and consistent fashion • Directs several complex problem-solving efforts concurrently • Encourages risk-taking and makes allowances for mistakes • Demonstrates a complete understanding of corporate governance • Managing the Accounting department, controlling the overall Working Capital Management. • Overall responsibility for ensuring on-time payments to suppliers and service providers to meet contractual obligations. • Overall responsibility for Accounts Receivables, maintaining low ageing of dues and minimizing risks to the organization. • Responsible for internal and external auditing of company results, reporting and processes. • Responsible to provide full and detailed reporting on progress against budget and any areas of concern to the General Manager and Corporate Finance management. • Managing the Planning and Reporting function to ensure accurate planning of cash and other financial requirements to meet organizational needs. • Managing the Costing team in the business, to ensure accurate pricing and costing of projects and services for maximum profitability.
Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounts with 10 years of related experience out of which 3 years as Finance Manager in a large firm/ FMCG with knowledge in GP/Oracle accounting systems. • Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP.) • CMA is a must.
