1.Sourcing new suppliers to develop the approval suppliers list. 2.actively manage the strategy ( including suppliers selection, negotiation, risk assessments ) and the relationship with suppliers for some of the raw materials and packaging commodities led at local level ( finish product packaging , printed materials, packaging and associated consumables ) 3.He will act as the main point of contact for raw materials and packaging between the plant stakeholders, the Purchasing Network and the suppliers, in an effort to ensure the operations are run according to the safety, quality (compliance to quality standards a ), delivery (continuity of supply, capacity ) and cost requirements of the Business. 4.He will constantly generate, develop and manage projects aimed at reducing the Total Cost of Ownership of the raw materials, and ensure the necessary buy-in of cross-functional teams to implement the projects 5.He will ensure compliance with the general purchasing processes within the group. 6.Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. 7.Select products for purchase by analyzing cost and quality of items in conjunction with department heads. 8.Determine method of procurement such as direct purchase, quotes or bid. 9.Prepare and reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority and determines that statutory bid requirements are met. 10.Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance and inventories. 11.Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection and/or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action. 12.Expedite delivery of goods to users, when necessary. 13.Prepare reports as requested, to enable financial analysis of all facets of Business operations
Qualifications 1.preferably have a Bachelor in Engineering, Finance or Business Administration 2.Have a solid purchasing experience in direct materials of min 3 years, preferably within a highly regulated manufacturing environment ( FMCG experience is an asset ) 3.Have a solid experience in project management, sourcing and cost analysis processes. 4.Strong in English 5.Motivated, flexible, analytical and target oriented. 6.Assertive and have a perseverance personality, together with an ability to be diplomatic, challenging and persuasive. 7.Able to work in a changing, multi-cultural and matrix environment. 8.Have strong communication skills
