Description - Responsible for the proper operation of City Network Infrastructure & Dependent Services. - Manage & Lead the Networks Team engineers to monitor and maintain network health. - Develop and monitor the technical team and individual performance, technical and soft skills development. - Ensure working practices are well defined and operational with minimal disruption. - Ensure that policies and procedures are implemented for efficient operations - Review daily priorities and take appropriate action to ensure results are achieved. - Supervise and manage all Network infrastructure new projects. - Handle and plan new Network/Security installations - Coordinate with vendors. - Handle all Technical issues Implementation, Monitoring & Maintenance that related to network and dependent services including Wired and Wireless services, Network Security and IP-Telephony. - Review network design and architecture. - Review information security policies and procedures. - Perform network/systems audits and reviews. - Provide support and consultancy for Technical Support Team members. - Solve escalated tasks and issues - Responsible for the City Systems Infrastructure including: Active Directory, File Server, Virtual Machines Environment, Systems monitoring and Identity management.
Qualifications - Deep knowledge network infrastructure platforms including Core/Distribution/access switches, high-end routers, wireless systems, Network Management and IP-telephony systems. - Deep knowledge of network security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, content filtering, VPN, DLP, anti-malware, etc. with 8+ years hand-on experience. - Deep knowledge of Systems infrastructure services, including Active Directory, Virtualization, Systems management and Identity management - MS Project Professional, MS Office, Visio, HW & SW Background.
