Description The Logistics section head is responsible for managing the day to day clearance, warehousing, Inventory and local transportation meeting the short term objectives resolving issues related to the operations through immediate action or short term planning. Continuous internal communication with department section heads. Monitoring the day to day warehousing, Inventory and local transportation meeting the short term objectives resolving issues related to the operations through immediate action or short term planning. Analysis of the local transportation spends and ties to the financial ledger. Coordinating and communicating shipment delivery requirements with freight forwarders. Responsible for timely, accurate and complete record keeping. Support standardization of transportation processes from the plant to the end customers. Help manage the last mile logistics transportation and distribution warehouse operations and drive the continuous improvements. Ensuring strong culture of Quality, Controllership and Regulatory Compliance in all the processes.
Qualifications Bachelors Degree preferably logistics or supply chain management. Minimum of 7 years of experience in the same position.

Other Skills Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional with proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments. Excellent project management and analytical skills.
