Description Liaising with clients and reporting progress, professional staff (such as architects and surveyors) and the public. • Supervising contracted staff & meeting subcontractors. • Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety. • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings. • Maintaining quality control procedures. • Problem solving & motivating the workforce. • Using specialist construction management computer applications. • Representing the clients or organization’s interests. • Providing advice on the management of projects • Organizing the various professional people working on a project. • Making sure that all the aims of the project are met. • Making sure the quality standards are met. • Keeping track of people and progress. • Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors. • Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained. • Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing aspects.
Qualifications A minimum of 5 year experience. • BA/BS degree in Architecture/ Construction. • Critical understanding of best practices for user-centered design and functionality. • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced, independent environment. • Be self-directed, self-motivated, organized and disciplined. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Desktop, Mobile and Tablet design experience across multiple formats. • Passion for enterprise software, and making every day products beautiful. • Prior management in a team leadership role.
