Description - The successful candidate will be a seasoned software engineer with extensive knowledge and experience in designing and building complex, highly scalable and dependable application systems using Java/J2EE based technologies. - Successful candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of web front-end and back-end development tools, technologies, practices, and standards; proven ability to integrate large scale systems or third party products; and a track record of delivering high-quality, web-based business solutions in a timely and effective manner. - Contribute in all phases of the development life-cycle. - Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.) - Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance. - Participates in code reviews. Prepares and executes unit tests. - Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. - Participates as a member of development team.
Qualifications - Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns and micro services. - Java and J2EE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.) - Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate),Mongo DB - Experience in the Spring Framework, EJB3 , JSF2 - Experience in web services. - Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, GWT, Spring MVC). - Understanding of Agile development methodologies. - Experience with test-driven development and Junit testing Understanding of quality and security standards. - Experience in the SOAP /REST applications - Familiarity with agile/SCRUM development methodologies and software development life-cycle principles. - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Experience in deployment process - General knowledge about Big data and Hadoop - Experience in php and .net is a plus
