Description Responsibilities include translation of the UI/UX design wire-frames to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent. - Strong proponent of clean, valid, maintainable, and semantically correct HTML/CSS, including HTML5/CSS3. - Experience working with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS, - In depth knowledge of the capabilities of IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari including cross-browser compatibility and support, - Solid knowledge of DOM manipulation. - Expert Knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and AJAX as it applies to front-end development, - Working knowledge of web accessibility guidelines, data object and page optimization practices, etc, - Advanced design skills with HTML, Advanced CSS, Advanced JavaScript / DOM, jQuery, JSON, XML, AJAX methodologies, Multiple web browser support, SQL - Software and developer experience required: JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Prototype, jQuery etc.), HTML & CSS (HTML 5 and CSS3 included), Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop)
