Description - To perform food facility inspections, as frequently as may be prescribed. - To investigate any complaint in respect of any violation to the food safety policy and procedures. - To respond to incidents of food poisoning and to send reports to and assist the Medical Department to enable them to initiate corrective action. - To recommend improvement notices, whenever necessary. - To maintain a record of all inspections made and action taken by him, including the taking of samples and to submit copies of such records to the Medical Department. - To inspect any food, intended for sale, that is suspected to be unsafe or food which does not comply with the food safety policy and procedures. - Coordinating and assisting with technical training and overall competency to food service staff with regards to the operational aspects of the food safety program,Food facility pest control, Food facility personnel practices, and maintenance for food safety and hygiene /cleaning practices. - Co-ordinate the ongoing development requirements of the food safety program and compliance including carrying out internal audits. - Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all products coming in and out of the City meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards. - Update existing food safety procedures and documentation to keep up with changing requirements. - Assist in food sampling process and keep records of the results.

Qualifications - Food safety regulations - excellent communication and negotiation skills - organisational skills - problem solving ability . - Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. -Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
