DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose
To deliver a robust and proactive HR service to drive business performance.

Key Accountabilities
Service Delivery & Information:
Ensure customer-focused HR delivery excellence across the employee life-cycle, applying exceptional process and project management to enable effective and cost-efficient HR service delivery; providing meaningful analytics to enable business improvement.
  • Establish client requirements and gain a deeper insight into their needs/problem by questioning and exploring concerns and reviewing relevant data.
  • Maintain and monitor accuracy of case records, making necessary improvement and tracking progress against SLA’s.
  • Ensure all correspondence throughout the employee life cycle is professional, accurate and complies with legal objectives and is recorded on employee files and databases (where relevant) eg offer of employment, on boarding documentation, changes to employment, supporting documentation to third parties (eg banks).
  • Preparation of reporting for HR Manager as and when required, including recruitment, absence, turnover, organization charts, manpower planning.
  • Administration of insurance policies (membership, query management, invoices).
  • Ensure all onboarding of new starters is captured and delivered by HR, Line Manager and Training as appropriate.
  • Ensure all exit interviews are carried out and data is recorded on the HR central system and feedback to HR Manager to take appropriate action.
  • Working in partnership with the recruitment team and client group to ensure the right caliber of candidate is hired.
  • With managers and the recruitment team, design a range of assessment and selection approaches to ensure informed choices about candidates.
  • Maintain the documentation & filing system as well as an accurate & updated database for each employee.
Process Improvement/Ad hoc Projects:
Initiate, support and/or manage HR projects as applicable to drive efficiencies.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies
Experience required:
  • 0- 1years HR experience.
  • Ability to provide advice and guidance to colleagues, building a reputation as a reliable source of colleague’s support.
  • Have an understanding of and ability to work in a diverse environment.
  • Builds trust of employees and managers and consistently giving carefully thought-through advice.
  • Seeks out feedback from HR colleagues and managers, taking the learning and development points on board and modifying own practice.
Education requirement:
  • University Degree (Bachelor Degree in HR Management/Business is a plus).
Knowledge & Skills:
Fluent in English.
