Description - Supervising the assigned labs (Dimensions/Financial).
 - Reporting the daily attendance status for his subordinates/himself.
 - Ensuring the cleanliness of the lab workplace, equipment, and tools.
 - Ensuring assigned labs readiness for any technical task within its predetermined mission.
 - Operating and maintaining all assigned labs assets (equipment, tools and infrastructure).
 - Procuring consumables/simple supplies from local market vendors and performing any required market surveys.
 - Contacting the vendors to get price quotations for any required items.
 - Maintaining an updated inventory of all lab items (equipment, devices, tools, and consumables).
 - Assisting in setting and conducting experiments in the assigned labs.
 - Supporting the faculty/teaching assistant members in the courses included in the Dimensions section.
 - Assisting faculty members in the development of course lab manuals and procedures.
 - Facilitating the projects/research endeavors of the undergraduate/graduate students, as well as supporting researchers and professors in their research activities/grants and services.
 - Keeping awareness and reporting of new/required developments in his supervised equipment/machines.
 - Keeping continuous training of his subordinates and making sure that they are all competent in using all the labs assets.
 - Carrying out various manual tasks using manual tools.
 - Applying the departmental safety regulations/precautions and safety work practices, and immediately reporting any safety violation incident/condition or potential hazards.
 - Ensuring safe and clean work environment within the assigned labs and its premises in coordination with the relevant AUC departments.
 - Monitoring first aid kits, fire-fighting equipment and safety gears in coordination with the with the relevant AUC departments.

Qualifications Minimum education requirement: University Degree in Engineering (preferred production engineering specialization). Experience: - Minimum 5-7 years of experience with operation of conventional machining equipment (turning, milling, grinding, stock machines, drilling, shaping), CNC Machines (3 & 4 axis both milling and lathe), EDM machines (both wire and ram), wilding equipment, use of hand tools, tool management, material handling, and measuring tools. - Minimum 2-3 year experience managing schedules, workflow, safety, personnel, and Equipment. - Able to read blueprints and technical drawings. - Experience with software applications such as SolidWorks, Power-Mill, and power-Shape.
