 Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
 Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.
 Addressing any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations
 Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval
 Overseeing hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks

Qualifications BS/BA in business administration or relevant field. Successful work experience as a Human Resources Specialist, officer, administrator or other HR position. Strong working knowledge of HR functions and procedures (e.g. pay and benefits, recruitment, training, and development). Commitment to staying current on understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making. Strength of character, ethics, and commitment, and reliability. HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute).
