Description Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as operational cost, inventory and labor
Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
Performs activities covering materials and production costs, costs of sales, overhead, etc.
Compares actual costs to estimates and analyzes variances.
Analyzes and monitors raw material inventory.
Analyzes actual operational costs and prepares periodic reports comparing budget costs to actual production costs; this includes product margin reporting and analytics.
Maintaining Cost Accounting System
Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of Cost Accounting Bachelors Degree in Accounting Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles. Computer Literate - Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word Experience with SAP is a plus Experience working with engineering and analysis of cost standards Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports Able to work independently
