Description 1- To place purchase orders on both overseas and local factories / suppliers based on demand analysis done the PAP and finished goods managers which specifies required and priorities.
2- Coordinate supplier quality programs.
3- Initiate and maintain contracts and purchase orders utilizing procurement agreements.
4- Develops and implements supply assurance strategies, negotiates complex supplier agreements/relationship.
5- Recommends purchasing policies and procedures.
6- Coordinate activities with corporate or other external/internal parts of the organization.
7- Manages master schedules, forecast purchased materials requirements, inventory changes and levels. (if applicable)
8- With logistics develop means to reduce lead-times on all material.
Qualifications Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of manufacturing systems. Supervisory skills.
