Description - Placing orders to vendor
- Adding orders on SAP correctly with all data
- Follow up on orders up to delivery to Metra WH
- Follow up with Logistics Team in case of Ex- work, FOB & CIF shipments up to DXB & KSA with coordination with logistics dept. DXB, KSA, Qatar & KUW.
- Following up with Logistics Team for goods pickup, clearance & delivery in all regions.
- Sending expected shipments details to WH team before goods arrival.
- Placing claims with the vendors handled & add vendor claims on SAP.
- Communicate & coordinate with customer service dept. for all DOA claims.
- Handling placing claims to insurance company in case of any marine claim.
- Following on credit notes from vendor OR from insurance company for any claim placed.
- Performing to minimize the lead time for shipping and clearing the shipments.
- Follow up with Logistics Team the shipping cost percentage which must be applied on all shipping from any place with different way of shipping.
- Coordinating with WH for DOA claims pickup
- Handling stock rotation return with Vendor and WH.
- Adding of stock rotation on SAP.
- Follow up that GRN is done on SAP
- Supplying product Managers and sales team with all information & updates required about the orders issued ( order to delivery cycle,.. etc)
- Send purchasing reports on weekly basis to product managers showing details of all orders from placing date up to expected delivery date.
- Prepare manual report showing all orders & claims status.
- Be sure to close & make amendment on order on time.
- Add all updates of all orders on SAP.
- Preparing updated backlog report & in transit for all order to the management.
Qualifications University Degree : in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain or related discipline Experience: 3-5 years Very Good understanding of Purchasing concepts & Logistics Preferred knowledge for SAP
