Description -The Production Manager will lead the manufacturing team in safety, continuous improvement, quality, efficiency, and delivery, coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams for a Plastic Injection Molding facility.
-Provide oversight to capacity and production planning to ensure on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
-Champion problem solving teams and the use of Lean Principles to continually improve key measure performance.
-Develops, documents, and implements plastic manufacturing methods needed to improve quality, efficiency.
-Determines component material and tooling strategy to best meet component design, cost, capacity, and quality requirements
-Adheres to safety policy procedures
Qualifications 6+ years of previous experience in production, manufacturing of Plastic Injection Molding -Strong Knowledge of production tools and equipment - Above average communication skills, written and verbal - Experience with a variety of engineering tools (i.e. analytical, statistical, design, data collection, etc.) is highly preferred -Experience in Process Qualification / Validation, Six Sigma, and plastic part design preferred -A Bachelor`s Degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical or Material Science Engineering or related engineering discipline is required. -Strong leadership qualities
