Description 1. Develop database utilities and automated reporting 2. Create shell scripts for task automation 3. Analyze and sustain capacity and performance requirements 4. Analyze, consolidate and tune database for optimal efficiency 5. Monitor systems and platforms for availability. 6. Oversee backup. 7. Restore and recover corrupted databases 8. Install and test upgrades and patches 9. Develop new Web applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications. 10. Create a company-wide Intranet, allowing data manipulation for each internal staff member. 11. Perform complete testing of Web applications unit and system, engaging users as necessary. 12. Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results. 13. Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use. 14. Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing. 15. Develop external Web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.
Qualifications -DB2, SQL Server, Shell (C, Korn, Bourne, KSH), Linux, UNIX-AIX. -Code Igniter, Joomla, Php/ MySQL, Ajax, JQuery, Html/CSS, Apache Server, .NET. -Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash
