Description -Initiate contact and develop relationships with key decision makers in established area companies, especially the )primary employers -Respond to inquiries from companies with problems, resolve those problems or facilitate resolution, and follow up -Facilitate visits to designated companies in the County -Determine and monitor companies possibly in distress -Assist in preparing incentive proposals for qualifying companies -Coordinate corporate headquarters visits, as needed -Develop or partner with other organizations to provide supporting education to existing companies and their staffs -Develop and implement innovative programs that support the growth and competitiveness of local companies -Manage Rapid Response Teams -Have a good knowledge of area companies that are looking to expand -Have a deep understanding of incentive programs that can be used for local expansion projects -Responsible for conducting on-going market research to gather demographic and other pertinent information
Qualifications -Flexibility, ability to work under stress and to work independently as well as within a group. - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. - Knowledge of persuasive communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.

Other Skills - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office.
