Description     —Planning for managing effective and efficient operation and processing of the Day Definite Department. —Manage the various DD operations and ensure compliance to the service expectations and quality standards. —Oversee day-to-day office management tasks, ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to in all operations applications. —Ensuring that operational procedures are in place to ensure safe dispatch of packages. —Ensuring service levels in terms of delivery are met through monitoring of service levels returns. —Develop and administer budgets, work schedules, and performance requirements. —Ensure and confirm Productivity measures, approved by the Head of Division are adhered to. —Ensure adequate manpower availability to handle forecast volume of work. —Ensure fair treatment and well being of team to maximize motivation and compliance with people policies. —Ensure all training needs are met and that performance is monitored and feedback provided at regular intervals. —Monitor and deliver all employees training is up to date to meet operations and company standards. —To manage and ensure strict compliance of security procedures and regulations for Road operations. —Act as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. —Insures Standard Operating Procedures and protocols are maintained and adhered to. —Continually review and revise as required the operations process and procedures to improve service and reduce costs.
Qualifications    University Degree preferably in related field. - 5-7 years business experience in operations. - Previous experience in a relevant managerial/supervisory level is a must. - Broad industry experience.
