Description — Monitor hardware stock level to make sure that hardware is always there for all time (normal and emergency) — Forecasting future capacity requirements based on business plans, usage trends, sizing of new services — Identify the bill of quantity from each network element and the replacement items in case of bidding from different suppliers. — Estimate the required budget for network needs in different budget reviews. — Proceed in the hardware ordering cycle and follow up until hardware to be received — Calculate the required OPEX versus demand and the available and develop time plan for new transmission aligned with the available cash flow. — Monitor resources utilization (BW, power, space, TX, routers..) and assist with the investigation and diagnosis of capacity-related incidents and problems. — Plan and initiate network upgrades to insure network readiness for commercial and corporate needs — Initiate and follow up the cycle of new implementations with all related teams — Identifying and implement any tuning to be carried out to optimize and improve capacity or performance. — Develop different alternatives for the operation plan to balance between network needs and the cost to reach cost efficient operation. — Participate in CAB meetings to ensure that all changes are assessed for their impact on capacity and performance then follow up on all stakeholders to make sure that cycle is closed, network items has been installed, facilities are implemented. — Preparing reports on service & component performance against targets contained in SLA and create dash board for upper management to give them high level of the service performance. — Assessing new technology and its relevance to the organization in terms of capacity and cost and decide between different alternatives.
