Description Supports and maintains the Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Windows Server and other applications in the college by providing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, administration, account management and resolution of software and hardware issues. — Manage Active Directory 2008/2012 infrastructure for the Enterprise. Lead the design, implementation and support of a highly available multi-domain directory infrastructure platform. — Participate in developing and maintaining backup and recovery procedures and processes. — Managing Microsoft Active Directory to include implementation of GPOs, support of file and print services, DNS, Domain Controller replication, security policies and OU management. — Provide capacity planning and performance monitoring and improve platform availability and efficiency. — Participate in security and application troubleshooting and incident problem resolutions with other teams. — Provide 2nd level support for Active Directory, application and administration teams. The candidate must be comfortable in addressing Priority 1 incidents that can arise 24X7on a rotational basis
Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of experience as System Administrator for Microsoft Windows Servers & Active Directory 2008. • Minimum 3 years of experience for Microsoft Exchange 2010 (Maintain, troubleshoot, administrate, manage users and upgrade Microsoft Exchange including Exchange mail stores, Clustering, high Availability, Recovery, and disaster recovery and Perform regular backups). • Extensive experience in IT infrastructure services: DNS,DHCP,WINS,DFS • At least 2 years’ experience in working with virtual infrastructure (i.e. VMWare). • Experience with PKI Certificates and SSL • Solid understanding of IT components including Networking, Network Load Balancing, various Operating Systems, SAN/NAS storage The candidate must be comfortable in addressing Priority 1 incidents that can arise 24X7on a rotational basis. The candidate must be willing to accommodate weekend or on-call schedules when necessary.
