Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications; -Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks; -Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults; -Replacing parts as required; -Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports; -Setting up new users accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues; -Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Qualifications BS/BA in Information Systems Technology, Computer Engineer, Computer Science -Minimum of 1 – 2 years working as ITS Help Desk technician -Microsoft Certification / A + certification a plus, with proficiency with Windows OS (Windows 7 and 8), MS Office Suite, and Remote Desktop -A+ and/or other CompTIA/Cisco/MS certification highly preferred. -Basic understanding of MS Active Directory and MS SQL database systems a plus -Experience with mobile Operating System Windows, OSX, IOS, and Android.
