- overseeing and driving logistics activities -Manage day-to-day operations to ensure the Egyptian market place that work is running efficiently and smoothly - Analyze existing processes & product features, and constantly innovate on them to improve the customer experience - Respond and resolve; identify, evaluate, strategize and negotiate. - Use all your problem solving tools - Heavy metrics analysis to properly allocate capacity, drive efficient pricing, and improve driver quality - Manage and influence the behavior of supply & demand by working with shippers, drivers, and carriers and making data-driven decisions in this double-sided marketplace - Process improvement; continuously evaluate logistics operations, business practices, and process documentation to identify issues and implement strategic improvements to ensure efficient operations and adherence to company priorities. - Analytics; analyze market drivers and utilize market data to develop and recommend strategies to continuously grow the business. Provide sound analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals. -Leadership and team development; cultivate talent through mentoring, coaching, and developing your team on a daily basis. -Analyze team performance and provide timely metrics and reports to clients and executive team. • Collaboration; partner with the Implementation team in the development of requirements, quote packages, data gathering, evaluation and analysis of quotes. • Customer service; oversee implementation of new operating methodologies that optimize putting our customers first. -Build and grow client relationships through constant contact and advocacy by offering advice, solutions, and proactive issue management. -Accountability; oversee operating budgets, monitor performance and ensure budget and KPIs are met. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field (Master’s degree a plus, but not required) • 7 – 10 years of experience in measuring the effectiveness of a logistics system • Minimum 3-5 years of analytical experience in a supply chain, procurement, transportation or logistics management environment • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience of teams with 20+ employees; proven leader with demonstrated ability to think creatively, cultivate teams, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment • Strong business acumen for effectively managing costs and revenues • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills •Ability to focus and stay calm under pressure with a positive attitude
