Description Be aware of the VMWare features and products i.e.(Disaster Recovery (DR), Site Recovery Manager(SRM).
Installing, Configuring and manage VMware /ESXI servers.
Configuring VMware High Availability (HA) and Distributed Resource Schedule) DRS cluster in VMware Environment
Manage recovery plans and perform non-disruptive testing with VCenter Site Recovery
Monitoring systems performance by VMware Hyperic and Microsoft System Center Operation Manager (SCOM).
Monitor all servers to ensure they are not experiencing hardware issues and manage server hardware in blade systems ie. (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco"�. Etc)
Configure, install, and support Managed servers Linux & Microsoft.
Troubleshoot physical problems and address issues within the facility.
Install and upgrade servers within the data center.
Troubleshoot problems on Managed servers, initial installation, connectivity, and Monitor problems.
Installation and maintenance of operating systems on workstations and servers.
Storage provisioning, Allocation and De-allocating storage to different system on storage boxes such as "EMC clarion, IBM Storwize & EMC technology"�.
Monitor Backup jobs & working with EMC networker, IBM Tivoli backup solutions.
Monitor dedicated network components through whats up, Forti manager and Orion.
Able to implement server rebuild techniques including data recovery tools provided.
Prepare servers platform and applications that requested in new solutions deployment.
Keep the data center organized and efficient.
Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in same role Aware of the above terminologies BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
