Description As a technical sales engineer, youll need to: - search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential in designated regions - develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements - persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery - negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs - administer client accounts - provide pre-sales technical assistance - work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required - prepare reports for management and keep customer records - meet sales targets and coordinate sales projects - Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers - Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery - Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule. - Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff; costing engineering changes.
