Description Key Responsibilities:
- Manage proactively sales funnel for area of sales responsibility to achieve growth targets and to mitigate impact of potential customer portfolio changes.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts.
- Add value to our business through demonstrated understanding of the market, competitors, customers, products and market opportunities.
- Develop the customer base and increase the profile of the business through networking activities, following up on leads, attending conferences and exhibitions
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth flow of technical information and updates to our customer data base thorough marketing materials and periodic newsletters.
- Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
Qualifications Requirements: - A university degree in Agriculture, Science or related disciplines. - Proven sales experience (4-6 yrs) in handling international markets; Knowledge of fertilizers is a plus - Fluent communication skills in English, additional languages would be a plus - MS-Office (Word, Excel. PowerPoint) and Database experience at user level. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple short and long-term projects in order to meet deadlines”
