Description Main Purpose: -
Provide accurate, reliable and timely product costing, stock control and ensure the integrity of standard costing within the department.
Responsibilities: -
1- Maintain cost sheet for product, raw material, packing material, overhead, labor, etc.
2- Control standard cost for all finished goods, component materials and analysis variances.
3- Produce product costing and other ad-hoc costing exercises for presentation and approval to be considered in product profitability.
4- Coordinate physical inventory counts, ensure their compliance with the company policy and investigate variances.
5- Ensure that stocks are accurately reflected in the Accounting system.
6- Ensure compliance with company financial policies relating to stock management and assist in maintaining proper documentation of internal control as required.
7- Define and investigate Production batches variances.
8- Apply overhead costs allocation as costing principals.
9- Maintaining cost accounting module on ERP.
10- Perform cost tasks as a member of the costing department.
11- Making estimates of new and proposed product costs.
12- Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost and profitability.
13- Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
14- Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
15- Provide accurate and timely reports (daily - monthly - annually) covering production efficiency, production performance, purchase price variance, material usages, and labor analysis, etc.
Qualifications Job Requirements: - Education: Bachelors degree commerce - Major Accounting. - Experience: 3-5 Years of experience in the similar field - Languages: Excellent command of English language (Speaking, reading and writing). - Computer Skills: 1. Experience of working on Oracle ERP Enterprise R12 2. MS Word - Excel - PowerPoint - Outlook Skills.
