Description - Coordinate all Sea Import/Export Freight activities, including quotation, booking, documentation, data entry, Shipment tracking and tracing, billing, arranging deliveries, among others responsibilities.
- Issue bills and invoice to clients and agent and organize documentation and properly keep all shopping records.
- Communicate on a daily basis with Shipping lines, vendors, truckers, customers, warehouse contact, sales representatives and overseas offices.
- Knowledge of shipping/Airlines and schedules
- Verify weights and dimensions of the cargo
-Advise clients concerning: terms of delivery & payment, Cargo insurance, Sea Freight Services, transport alternatives, etc.
- Provide Sales lead for Managing Director & Sales Manager.
- Follow up quotations with the clients
- Monitor outbound/ inbound traffic activities for load quality and accuracy.
- Ensures all documentation, such as invoices, B/L, SWB and other related documents for outbound /inbound shipments are completed accurately and forwarded to the appropriate party
- Perform Booking for shipments when necessary
- Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates to keep costs down where possible
- Ability to adapt to various work assignment changes
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally
Qualifications Experience of 1 - 3 years. Good command of English communication skills Good Organization skills MS Office skills
