Description Under the direct supervision of the Director of HR & Administration, the incumbent will mainly handle front desk responsibilities; provide secretarial and administrative support to project staff.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by your supervisor.

 1. Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
 2. Assist clients in finding their way around the office.
 3. Announce clients as necessary.
 4. Help maintain workplace security by issuing, checking and collecting badges as necessary.
 5. Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, and taking notes.
 6. Preparing meet and training rooms.
 7. Answer phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
 8. Assist colleagues with administrative tasks.
 9. Perform ad-hoc administrative duties.
 10. Answer, forward, and screen phone calls.
 11. Provide excellent customer service.
 12. Schedule appointments.
 13. Send faxes as required.
 14. Update and circulate staff telephone & Address Directory on regular basis.
 15. Handle the mail Pouch.

Qualifications - Bachelors degree (B. Sc. or B. A.) in Business or Communications or equivalent plus a minimum of two-year experience in similar field - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business communications, financial reports, and legal documents. - Ability to communicate with and respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write and translate reports. - Ability to effectively present information to top management and staff members. - Fluency in language skills required: English and Arabic

Other Skills PROJECT BACKGROUND: Feed the Future Egypt Rural Agribusiness Strengthening Project (ERAS) is a five-year USAID-funded activity. The project aims to improve the competitiveness of Egypts horticulture producers and related down-stream businesses and food processors. It promotes a more competitive and inclusive Egyptian economy through growth in selected horticultural sectors with special focus on securing employment and increasing agriculture-related incomes of smallholder farmers. The project will work in greater Cairo, Upper Egypt, and the Nile Delta, through three strategic regional offices in Luxor, Minya and Gharbia.
