The work schedule for this position is:

Duties

The incumbent serves as the Facility Operation Coordinator under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, and indirectly supervised by the Facility Manager. The incumbent prepares statistical reports on work order data, analyze and asses data for use in monitoring and evaluation facility operations. S/he identifies work priorities and provide key information to Facility management. Also, coordinates closely with the housing section on maintenance and repair activities to ensure properties are ready for new occupancy.  

The incumbent performs variety of administrative duties for the facility section as ensuring data is accurate and timely entered into multiple systems. S/he also serves as a primary contact between the customer and housing section for all facilities related work along with other duties assigned. 

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:  Three years of relevant work experience demonstrating the ability to compile and analyze large datasets, monitor, report, and track performance based on analysis of the data and communicate with multiple stakeholders to successfully manage the embassy's maintenance and repair program. 

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must be knowledgeable of facility traders and operations. Ability to analyze data and compile findings, as well as knowledge of computer systems, proper accounting procedures, and manage office accounts. 

Education Requirements:

Education: Three years of college or university studies in general coursework.


Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Good working knowledge in reading/ Speaking/ writing of English is required; Level 3 in English (This will be tested). Fluent knowledge in reading/ speaking/ writing of Arabic is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Incumbent must have a high degree of initiative, judgment and interpersonal skills. S/he must have the ability to acquire technical knowledge of multiple computer systems and software database within a reasonable time period. Incumbent must have a working knowledge of MS office.

Agency Benefits:

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Cairo/ Egypt may receive a compensation package that may include health, end of service benefits, insurance, and other benefits.

Per a special and temporary authorization, the salary is currently denominated in U.S. dollars and paid in EGP at the applicable rate of exchange according to the State Department Payroll Office’s official international currency exchange rate. When the conditions are met that the special and temporary authorization should be removed, the salary scale will revert to denomination and payment in EGP, as previously authorized.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
