Specific Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our financial operations by processing invoices, managing payments and assisting with various accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
· Review invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies before processing payments.
· Process payment requests to ensure timely payments to vendors.
· Be a point of contact for supplier inquiries.
· Responsible for applying correct tax treatments to local and foreign supplier payments.
· Assist with month-end closing procedures.
· Prepare account reconciliation statements and identify and resolve discrepancies.
· Contribute to other projects as assigned by the Finance team.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field.
· Experience in working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably SAP.
· Strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
· Professional attitude, reliable work ethic, and the ability to thrive in work environment.
· Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
